All websites need a host. Your host is where you store all the files that make your website work. These files include all your script pages, images, databases and more. Your web host generally also host your email (although you can use another service like Gmail or Yahoo to host your email).
MAjor Designs offers web hosting starting at $100.00 per year. I also provide domain hosting for $15.00 per year.
If you have any questions about my web hosting, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
A nice looking web page is all well and good, but if people can’t understand what to do, then your site is kind of pointless. You have to make sure the navigation is clearly visible and the content isn’t hidden behind some graphics. You also have to keep in mind that people will be viewing your website on different devices and screen sizes, so you have to use the real estate that’s available to you. Lastly you have to remember that people are not the only one looking at your site. Search engines crawl your site as well so you have to make sure your design is search engine ready.
I do my best to make sure my designs are search engine ready and look good as well. I can create desktop ready websites and responsive websites as well.
Please contact me about your current or next web project
What do you want your website to do? Do you want to be able to update the content or add images to your site? Do you plan on running an e-Commerce website and need to integrate a payment processor? Do you just want a blog to share your thoughts with the world.
These are all website development issues that I can help with. I generally develop websites on WordPress as it seems to be easy to update the content, but I’ll work with whatever CMS you want to use.
I also work with other graphic designers to convert their PSD or PDF files into fully functioning WordPress websites.
So if you already have a design but need to turn it into a website or just have any general web development questions, feel free to contact me.
Graphic design can encompass a wide array of work. Things like logo design, designing brochures, business cards and much more can fall under the “graphic design” category.
I have designed a variety of logos and have created brochures and business cards for clients in the past.
If you are seeking a new logo, an updated brochure or simply attempting to re-brand your image, let me know.
There’s no doubt about it that once a website is up and running, it needs to be maintained. In order to keep your site relevant and fresh, you need to keep your content up to date. This includes updating the About page of your website or adding a new blog post.
If for some reason you can’t maintain your website or you’re seeking for a faster turn around time, shoot me an email. I’ll make those updates for you.
Search Engine Optimization
“How can I make my site show up first on Google?” is probably the number one question I receive the most. It comes down to making sure your site is Search Engine Optimized, or in other words, its coded so search engines can see it. If your site is composed of nothing but Photoshop sliced images, you’re not going to rank very well at all. Search engines do not see images, they only see text. If every page of your site has the same title tag, search engines are going to assume you have duplicate content (which is bad).
There are a ton of other tips and tricks to help your website climb to the top of the search engine results. I can help your site get optimized and start bringing in more organic search engine traffic. Contact me anytime and we’ll discuss what can be done.
