Owner Chris Schultz, a Gettysburg PA based wood artisan, reached out to MAjor Designs after being recommended by Anne Gallon from Gallon Historical Art.  He wanted a site that he could showcase his portfolio of exceptional wood burned projects but also sell items that he can easily reproduce.  His projects cover a variety of subjects from old military planes and tanks to city maps and historical buildings.  He’s also been commissioned for personal projects as well.

To get his site up and running, we setup a new WordPress environment and developed a custom, responsive theme.  A custom post type called “Portfolio” was created so he can showcase his amazing work.  On top of that, WooCommerce was installed and Square was integrated as a payment method.

Chris is frequently updating his site and plans to showcase videos and more soon!
