Supporting a Graphic Designer with Website Development
Joni Blymire, owner of Joni Blymire Graphic Design, works with both large and small clients, providing services ranging from logo design and brochures to large-scale marketing materials like billboards.
As her client base grew, she needed a reliable developer who could take her designs and turn them into fully functional, responsive websites.
Turning Custom Designs into WordPress Websites
After connecting professionally, Joni partnered with MAjor Designs to handle the development side of her web projects.
My role is to take her finalized designs and translate them into clean, functional WordPress websites that match her creative vision while remaining easy to manage. This collaboration has supported a variety of projects, including:
- NYSSA-PGA.org
- NOMAOffice.com
Each project combines her design expertise with custom development to deliver a polished final product.
Building a Portfolio Website on WordPress
In addition to client work, I helped develop JoniBlyDesign.com using WordPress, giving her a platform to showcase her portfolio and track website performance. The site allows her to:
- Display her design work
- Maintain an online presence for potential clients
- Monitor traffic and engagement
The setup provides a simple, reliable solution that she can update when needed.
A Reliable Development Partner for Ongoing Collaboration
While Joni’s own website requires minimal updates, our working relationship continues across multiple client projects. This partnership is a great example of how MAjor Designs works alongside graphic designers to:
- Bring designs to life through development
- Ensure accuracy and responsiveness across devices
- Provide technical support when needed
Powering Long-Term Creative Partnerships
Beyond development, this collaboration has led to additional opportunities, including introductions to new clients and ongoing project work. Working alongside designers like Joni allows MAjor Designs to focus on what it does best—building reliable, scalable websites—while supporting strong creative direction from experienced designers.
